Real Estate Photography: Deicorp’s Endeavour Apartments, Arncliffe
Our latest real estate photography gig with Deicorp Property Developers has been nothing short of amazing! We’ve worked with the brand in the past, but this latest experience has surpassed them all.
Deicorp were about to complete their Endeavour Apartments in dreamy Arncliffe. As with other projects, these are a once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph the building completely lit up. Deicorp still have full control of the buildings at this stage, which means they can switch on all the lights.. literally every single light – Lounge rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, common areas – everything!
With a handover around the corner, we were commissioned to do 2 x things:
* Create hero shots for the brand’s future advertising and marketing activities
* Provide a portfolio of images highlighting the design features and elements of the property
The key to a stunning dusk or dawn image is understanding the optimum time to shoot. There is a window of around 5 minutes where the ambient daylight balances with the internal lights of a building. It’s at this time that we need to be positioned at the best angles with the cameras ready to go! A site visit prior to shooting is a must.
On the day of the shoot, we worked with a team of
2 photographers
3 x Canon 5D mkiv’s
3 x Canon 16-35mm Professional Lenses
Tripods, intervalometers
During post-production, we enhanced the images digitally using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, ensuring the best-possible quality.
For this real estate photography project, we worked closely with Jason Deiri, one of the owners at Deicorp. Suffice to say, we had an amazing time shooting on location. All the images will be used for Deicorp’s advertising and marketing platforms–online gallery, social media, print brochures, EDMS, billboard advertising etc.
